Adam Wake started programming music from underground electronic scene bands on the Scottish radio
station Dark Asylum Radio in 2008 (http://darkasylum.co.uk/), collaborating with artists, producers, and
record labels from around the world.
Starting in 2014, his collaboration with Dark Asylum Radio
shifted from programming to DJing. He broadcasts a new set
every month featuring the latest and classic tracks from the
underground electronic scene. With a particular taste ranging
from Synthpop, futurepop, and trance to techno, industrial,
EBM, and more. Enthusiastic about style fusion and melodic
mixing, he has performed in various alternative venues in
Mexico City, such as UTA bar, DADA X club, among others,
as well as private parties alongside renowned bands and DJs
in the scene.
Currently, in addition to the monthly show on Dark Asylum Radio, he has expanded his global presence
and shares his passion for music by collaborating with iconic radio stations, including:

– DM-E Radio (https://www.dm-entertainment.de/dme-radio)
– Futurepop & Synthpop Radio, from Argentina.
The global quarantine brought new challenges and work modalities,
representing an evolution as a professional in any field. Almost
universally, DJs worldwide adapted their work to online platforms,
organizing online festivals with goth scene bands. Beyond seeking
economic benefits, the goal was to alleviate the emotional distress we all
experienced due to confinement and uncertainty. In this way, he joined
producers from Germany, the United States, Canada, Brazil, and Russia
in various online festivals.
Currently, he is a member of DJ collectives such as Der Schwarm, Dark Knight Team, EBM Worldwide,
House of Legion, Twitch DJs, Machine Club, and XII.
With the reopening of clubs, he currently alternates between live performances and radio broadcasts and
live streams on Twitch.
